This is not a building that was designed to look historic. It simply is, over a century of Columbus history in every brick, every archway, every stone staircase.
With beautiful views of Jeffrey Park, an elegant paved entrance, and top-notch gardening around the Jeffrey Estate, Jeffrey Mansion is a premiere event space in Columbus, Ohio. The Carriage Court is a new addition that features historic brick, wood beams, and a grand skylight, this space also features a unique built-in bar with copper countertops, and an outdoor paver patio with bistro lighting that overlooks the wooded tree line of the park.
For engagement photography, Jeffrey Mansion gives you everything in one place. The grand staircase and mansion facade for dramatic, architectural portraits. Before becoming a City of Columbus park, it previously served as the official venue for the Franklin County Fair in 1852 and the Ohio State Fair from 1874 to 1884. That history lives in the park's bones, in the maturity of its trees, the depth of its gardens, the quiet permanence of everything it holds.
The cherry blossom trees are the crown jewel. Franklin Park Conservatory features flowering cherry trees that are free and open to the public. When those trees bloom in late March and early April, the park transforms into something so extraordinary that couples come specifically for that window, pink petals overhead, the whole garden turned soft and luminous, and the kind of light that turns every single frame into something worth printing large.
